We know that not a lot of people loved Forza Motorsport when the series was revitalized earlier this year, but if Forza Motorsport Update 6 is anything to go by, it may be time to look and buy Xbox digital gift card and check the update out.
Let's give you the highlights. We won't spoil everything you'll find in the update. It's just around the corner, so we're sure you can wait.
One of the major issues that people had with Forza Motorsport is the car progression. It just wasn't that fulfilling. Well, thankfully, car progression is being shaken up. You can now use all car parts no matter the car level, meaning you can upgrade them faster.
I addition to this, you can use your credits to but car points, helping you to level the car up quickly.
This is just a small change. If you have kept up to date with your Forza updates, then you'll know Daytona came in update 4. The track has now been given a upgrade. The position of the pit lane has changed so it lines up with the real track, and reduces collisions during a race.
There are plenty of other updates that you can look forward to in the game too. Nothing major, but we reckon will make things a bit more fun for some players.
For starters, there'll be eight new music tracks in the game. Just enough to keep the music from getting boring.
You'll also get to enjoy a few changes to drivatars. The AI drivatars (which are modeled after in game drivers) will be slightly better, and their behavior more predictable. Basically, expect a lot fewer collisions with the AI racers.
There'll also be a few cars added to the game, but they'll be announced at a later date. Some are included with the car pass, others with the game for free.
Finally, you've got a brand new tour in the game. In this tour, you'll see how different vehicles are based on the number of cylinders. As you progress through the tour, you'll have more and more power at your fingertips.
While we haven't seen how the combustion your will work in the game, we do love that more tours are being added. We've always loved the single player part of Forza, so the more tours, the better.
Of course, this tour is likely to take up a good amount of your time (which is awesome), and you'll get to enjoy using those cars once you have leveled them up.
