Blade & Soul is turning five and, as you can imagine, a celebration is in order. Five years is quite an achievement for an MMORPG. All players are invited to join the celebration. Let's see what the event is all about. First of all, you should know that you have plenty of time to enjoy the anniversary festival. It runs from January 13th until February 17th. The Fifth Year Festival event rewards players with event coins for completing daily quests, daily and weekly challenges. Players also get these coins as login rewards. Daily dungeon quests give coins as well. The coins may also drop while killing monsters in the Primeweald. Take your coins to the Dragon Express and see what items you can claim. Cosmetic items such as the Game Over costume and Late Date weapon illusion are available. These two items are the winners of the 2020 Cosmetic Design Contest. You can also get items that will help you in the game such as sacred vials, jewelry, XP charms, and more. Festival coins are also used to acquire Zaiwei raffle tickets. These tickets give players the opportunity to acquire weapon mythic level boosts, fusion stones, XP charms, and gems.
Raider's Fortune is an event dedicated to raiders. Adventure into Throne of Oblivion, Scarlet Conservatory, and The Steelbreaker to complete the dynamic quest associated with each raid. The rewards include chests that contain various prizes. Dungeon runners can start completing the House of Idols challenge dungeon. Three new achievements can be earned from this challenge. The Honing Season is another anniversary event. Players have the chance to get double the Honing Oils for completing three or five daily challenges. Premium members are eligible to get even more rewards during this celebration. Patch 1.11 dropped on January 12th . The update includes two new events and new items such as PvP weapons and soul shields. A new heart and amulet are introduced as well. Howl of the Hound is a new daily challenge that rewards players with gold, XP, reputation, and several items. The Fashion Icon collection is now available. If you are after more prizes, you can acquire the Glistening Winter Renewal Cache. Players can use N coins or Hongmoon coins to buys these chests. They may contain various fragments, gems, scrolls, reputation charms, and stone chests. The chests also contain special coins that are spent at the Dragon Express for cosmetic items, gems, soul shields, materials, equipment, and more.
