Blade & Soul players can take part in new activities brought by the Dark Passage update. Two events are available. Koldrak Fever begins on July 22nd and ends on August 19th but you have until September 23rd to claim the rewards. Koldrak Fever is a weekend event that takes place on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. When you complete the Koldrak's Lair daily, you get a bonus reward. Koldrak's Cache contains various items such as scales, embers, crystal bundles, and garnets.
Some items have 100% drop rate while others have a smaller chance to drop. Collect embers and use them as currency at the Dragon Express for stone chests and reputation charms. Summer of Splendor is the second event. It takes place at the same time as Koldrak Fever. Start by claiming your free Antique Lamps and Polishing Cloths. Use the clothes on the lamps to obtain Pristine or Wishing Lamps. The lamps are chests that contain various items such as wishing charms, scale fragments, crystal bundles, evolved stones, solar energy, reputation charms, and more.
Don't forget that all three lamps have a five hours cooldown. The cloths needed to obtain the lamps can be earned in a variety of ways. You will get them as login rewards and also from daily challenges, from the Dragon Express for Angler's Pearls, and from the Hongmoon store.
Dark Passage also brings some new content and changes to existing Blade & Soul systems. Players can access a new PvE and PvP hunting zone called Nyraka. This is an island inhabited by monstrous creatures such as demons. Look for A Keeper's Call letter in your mail to begin your adventure in this new zone.
Silversteel Laboratory is a new 12-player raid. You need to be at least level 60 and Hongmoon level 16 to enter this raid. You also need to complete Chapter 5: Steel Trap quest. The raid has two weekly and two dynamic quests. A new weapon tier is available. Thornbreaker weapons can be upgraded from stage seven to nine. Players are able to transform their legendary raid weapons into mythical weapons thanks to a new game system. The mythical weapons support +20 enchants. Class skills have been revised as well.
