Halloween is just around the corner and brings not just treats and costume parties but also the chance for Blade and Soul players to take part in another Blade and Ghoul event. Just like Earth, Earthen Realm also celebrates this holiday. However, unlike on Earth where Halloween lasts for one night only, in the Earthen Realm the holiday lasts for a month. The celebration begins on October 16th. Blade and Ghoul 2019 comes with a new event and lots of new items of all sorts.
Open the quest journal and start the Candycloud on the Horizon quest. You will need to travel to Jadestone Village to gain access to this year's Blade and Ghoul dungeon. It is called Candycloud Park and it looks amazing. The story behind it is that Papa Pazhu organized his daughter’s birthday party in this amusement park. Opal's favorite heroes are the Four Guardians and they are present at the party. Unfortunately, two party-crashers have also shown up. They are called Yippi and Skippi and they will ruin Opal's party if someone doesn't stop them. That someone is a group of adventurers. As soon as players complete the starting quest they will unlock the daily quest called Candycloud Calamity. The daily rewards players with Pumpkin Spice Candies which are this year's event tokens. There are many other ways to get these candies.
One candy per day is easily obtained as a login reward. Players that like to raid should head into the Fallen Aransu School and Snowjade Fortress as these weekly raids give four candies each. Hall of the Keeper and Hall of the Templar weekly raids give two candies each. Each day of the week comes with daily quests that allow players to get more candies.
Halloween box rewards also contain candies in addition to many other items. Just keep in mind that each item has a certain probability to drop from the box. Three types of special candies can be obtained from these boxes. These candies give raid buffs. The pumpkin spice candies are spent at the Dragon Express for all sorts of items such as costumes, weapon illusions, upgrade tokens, pet packs, gems, materials, consumables, and XP charms. Players can obtain special upgrade materials by taking part in events or by using transmuting. These items replace other upgrade materials.
