Blade and Soul is having its own version of a winter celebration. The event runs from December 6th until January 17th so players have plenty of time to get the rewards. This is a long event but there are also lots of items to be claimed. The items used as currency for the duration of the event are called Frozen Mushrooms.
One mushroom is obtained for free from the Hongmoon Store. There is a daily quest called Strike Gold that rewards three of them. Three more are acquired after completing the daily challenge. The Frozen Vipercap Cavern dungeon rewards players with mushrooms after they defeat the final boss. The number of received mushroom depends on the time spent in the dungeon. A quick time yields more mushrooms. The dungeon can be entered from the Jadestone Village portal or using the cross-server lobby. Players need to be at least level 16 which you could get fast with BNS Power Leveling. Max level characters that can enter raids will get event themed rewards when completing Memory of Meganura, Aransu Has Fallen, and Eternal Champion quests. The received item is called Hot Mushroom Stew. It contains frozen mushrooms and also the chance to drop XP charms, premium transformation stones, and more. The biggest number of mushrooms is obtained by completing Chapter 20 of Act 8. The reward for this is 60 mushrooms. The frozen mushrooms are used as currency at the Dragon Express to get cosmetic items, upgrade materials, gems, and limited duration Fleeting Frenzied and Serene souls. The cosmetics include earmuffs, hats, and reindeer themed headbands and nose.
Lost Jackpots are other items obtained during the event. This is a chest that is acquired for free from the Hongmoon Store. The chest is opened for instant rewards such as legendary elements and jewels, XP charms, gem powder, Blade and Soul Gold and sacred oil. Players can upgrade their jackpots by completing the Frozen Vipercap Cavern dungeon. When the chest reaches stage 10, players will get the Overboard costume as a reward.
